The Fellowship of Quakers in the Arts has as its purpose “to nurture and showcase the literary, visual, musical, and performing arts within the Religious Society of Friends, for purposes of Quaker expression, ministry, witness, and outreach. To these ends, we will offer spiritual, practical, and financial support as way opens.”

WE ARE LOOKING TO AGREE ON A THEME FOR OUR FQA NATIONAL ARTSPROJECT FOR 2019. (If you have an idea or interest in this, please use email to share!)
Bluegrass Barbeque – Sat., September 15(note date change from earlier announcement) Rain or Shine: 3:00-8:00 pm. Enjoy three local and talented bluegrass bands as you indulge in some good ole fashioned Barb -e -Que food(Veggie options available). Along with being a fun evening, this project develops community among FQA, Mt. Holly Friends Meeting, & the South Jersey Acoustic
Society and the local community.

“We Are Family” FQA Art Show at Camp Ockanickon, Medford NJ: Sat and Sun, September 29-30. Look soon for an email containing an Intent to Show form(or, you can call 609-801-1126) at the beautiful camp Art Building. Art show will be set up on Friday, Sept 28 and morning of Sept 29. Hours open to the public will be 3:30-5:00 and again at 7:00-8:00 on Saturday and 1:00-2:30 on Sunday. This show is a cooperate project between FQA and Burlington, Haddonfield, and Salem Friends’ “Tri-Quarter Gathering”.
